• Under general supervision, install, test, alter, repair, place and maintain security systems and equipment; plan, schedule, monitor and/or perform preventive maintenance (PM) operations and PM maintenance including repair, maintenance and installation of Card Access Control; perform related work as required.
• Work shift hours and respond to all requests for service and corrective action 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays, full time on site of PM account site. This will be a day or night 7 on and 7 off schedule.
• O&M Specialist is dispatched, as applicable to respond to calls for service. Responsible for, but not limited to, hardware PMs and corrective maintenance coverage including inspection, troubleshooting, adjustment, and replacement and/or repair of parts covered under the terms of the PM contract agreement.
• Position requires knowledge of current electrical codes; thorough knowledge of electronic principles, theory, troubleshooting, repair and construction techniques and applications; knowledge of network systems, intercom, power supplies, relays, and electrical systems; knowledge of applicable safety hazards, practices and precautions involving driving on the site and building electrical work.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and test equipment such as multi-meters, battery analyzers, and communication devices as required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

High School/GED

• Licenses, Certificates and Other
• Possession of a current and appropriate Nevada driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Obtain a movement area badge within the first six months of appointment.
• Obtain a certificate of successful completion of a required airport Badging class within the first week of appointment.
• Obtain a certificate of successful completion of CBP seal within the first two weeks of appointment.

Certification with Software House C-Cure 9000, Electronics Technicians Association (ETA), Electronic Security Networking would be ideal

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $24-30 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
