The JobThe Temporary Tile Setter is responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing tile, marble, and various types of flooring throughout the property to ensure a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing environment. This role also involves repairing and refinishing surfaces such as vanity tops and concrete walls while adhering to safety standards and maintaining organized work areas.
The STARTING RATE: $36.66 hourly
The Day-to-day- Install, repair, and replace broken tile and marble, walls and floors in all areas of the hotel
- Repair and refinish vanity tops and re-grout marble
- Install and repair all types of Carpet and padding, vinyl and wood flooring
- Repair and refinish all concrete walls
- Ensure that all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat and orderly at all times
- Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods
- Maintain constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience or successful completion of the Jr. Engineer Program
- Extensive knowledge of the tile and marble trade to repair and maintain the property
