We are hiring motivated individuals to join our growing team as Cable Technicians serving Las Vegas, Henderson, Spring Valley, Paradise, and surrounding areas.

No prior cable experience required – we provide paid training.

• Install, service, reconnect, and troubleshoot:
  • Cable TV
  • High‑Speed Internet
  • Telephone Services
  • Fiber to the Home (FTTH)
  • Home Automation & Cox Home Life Security
• Educate customers on services and equipment
• Promote additional Cox products and solutions
• Deliver excellent customer service as a front‑line brand representative
• Perform work to IES quality and productivity standards

• USD $15.00/Hr.
• Minimum education:
  
  None
• Minimum years of experience: 0‑2

• Ability to pass background check & drug screening (required)
• Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record (required)
• 21 years of age preferred, but not required
• Must be able to obtain a Sheriff Card and/or LVMPD License
• 1+ year of experience in a comparable hands‑on field such as:
  • Construction trades
  • Mechanics
  • Semi‑skilled manufacturing
  • Other related technical or trade roles
• 1+ year of direct customer service experience
• Basic PC and Windows software skills
• Stable work history
• Ability to work required shifts and overtime
• Ability to work 10‑12+ hour days
• Willingness to work a flexible, non‑traditional schedule, including 5‑6 day work weeks
• Strong communication skills; ability to work effectively with customers and team members
• Spanish language skills a plus in some locations

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Post‑high school education a plus
• Prior experience in construction, mechanics, manufacturing, or other hands‑on trade roles

• Ability to carry and operate tools and equipment
• Ability to inspect, install, repair, and document materials and equipment
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to distinguish different wire colors
  
  Ability to communicate in person and by telephone
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and kneel
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, including carrying and positioning a 28‑foot extension ladder
• Ability to climb ladders and/or utility poles and work at heights
• Ability to work in confined spaces (crawl spaces and attics)
• Ability to tolerate temporary exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme non‑weather‑related heat
