. Beacon Medaes is seeking a qualified medical gas service technician for the Las Vegas, Nevada area to perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical gas equipment, complete relevant paperwork, and build strong customer relationships.
As a Field Service Technician you will:
Preventative Maintenance and Repairs (85%) – Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on Medical Gas Products, following manufacturer recommendations, diagnosing malfunctions, testing and documenting operating parameters, and providing walk‑through evaluations.
Customer Service – Provide high‑level service, respond to customer needs, develop rapport, serve as an ambassador for Beacon Medaes, train and assist other technicians, and provide technical support to other departments.
Safety and Professional Appearance – Promote and practice proper safety procedures, use PPE correctly, maintain a professional image, and care for company vehicle and inventory.
Recordkeeping and Documentation (10%) – Complete job reports daily, timesheets weekly, expense reports monthly, and required paperwork.
Warranty Part Returns (5%) – Return warranty parts as requested, ensuring completion within two weeks. Perform additional assignments as required and maintain communication with all necessary parties.
- Experience: 5+ years of technical field service experience with mechanical and electrical equipment; expertise in compressed air or vacuum equipment.
- Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical skills; comfortable using a computer and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams); customer‑focused; good oral and written communication; detail oriented.
- Credentials: Must have ASSE 6040, ASSE 6030, or ASSE 6020 certification.
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent technical training in mechanical and/or electrical or equivalent experience.
- Travel: Valid driver’s license; ability to travel on short notice; occasional overnight travel may be required.
