Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

From initially selling and servicing fire extinguishers, we have grown into a full‑service fire and life safety corporation. We now specialize in sprinkler system testing, repair and installation, kitchen and restaurant systems, fire alarm design and installation, backflow prevention devices, fire pump repair and installation, and underground hydrant repairs and installation, among many other services we offer.

• Perform fire sprinkler system repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
• Test and perform maintenance on fire pumps
• Flow test and perform maintenance on fire hydrants
• Mix, pour, and mold concrete for fire pumps
• Keep tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies, perform preventive maintenance, etc.
• Complete and produce accurate and detailed reports
• Invoice paperwork in a timely manner
• Stay current with code requirements and industry changes
• Attend and complete all required trainings, including safety training

• Perform other related duties as assigned or required
• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Able to work flexible hours including on‑call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer needs
• Able to carry and move tools and equipment up to 50–70 lbs
• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions – climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 ft, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Able to travel to multiple job sites each day
• Able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders multiples times a day
• High precision/detail-oriented professional verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently, with little supervision
• Knowledge of fire systems and tools
• Does not take shortcuts – work effectively and efficiently while performing all aspects of the required job
