Transdev in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a C-Level Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.
Transdev is proud to offer:- $29.65 - $43.38 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
- Starting pay: $29.65 with progression to $43.38 over 4 years.
- Vacation: up to 1 week per year

- Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement
- Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
- Carry out Preventative Maintenance Inspections.
- Perform repairs on CNG/Diesel buses.
- Other duties as required.
- 2 years of relevant experience preferred; experienced automotive technicians are encouraged to apply.
- Mechanic’s Tool Set.
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions—100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 lbs., occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
