Adventuredome Engineer​/Welder

Circus Circus, 2880 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

• Inspect Ride Systems and Auxiliary Equipment for potential problems.
• Maintain and Repair Ride Systems and Auxiliary Equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on Ride Systems and Auxiliary Equipment.
• Complete work orders.
• Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs.
• Requires being mobile 90% of the shift.
• Other job related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities/

Qualifications:

• Understand and comply with all corporate, hotel and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.
• Read, write and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• 3 Years theme park maintenance experience and be proficient at Inspecting, Maintaining, Troubleshooting, Repairing, and Installing Amusement Park rides (in accordance with ASTM and Clark County ATS standards).
• Familiar with facilities fixtures, furnishings, and equipment.
• AIMS level 1 maintenance certification and one or more of the following:
  • 6G Welding certification
  • Journeyman Millwright card
  • A&P license, or Hydraulics & Pneumatics training certificate
  • Journeyman Electrical Card
  • PLC or DSC training certificate or certification
  • VFD, VSD, or Electronics certificate or certification
• Required to climb rides or structures to 100’
