You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. This role requires an Armed Guard Card/License and brings Allied Universal values to life through integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public government facility.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and assist with access control by observing entry and exit activity, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors according to site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or medical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources as needed and documenting actions taken.

+ Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, preserve observed details for follow-up, and maintain readiness of assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
