** What You'll Do:*
* + Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients;  
** restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)*
* + Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as needed

+ Assist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency room

+ Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with clinical staff and local responders as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy concerns for reporting.

+ Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization where required, managing visitor check-in directions, and documenting access activity according to location-specific procedures.

+ Complete accurate reports and logs, including incident reports, patrol observations, and shift turnover notes, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and location leadership.

** Have 1+ years of security-related experience.*
* + Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
