Job DescriptionAs a Armed Security Officer - Day Shift in Las Vegas, NV
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control and badge checks, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and provide clear, professional customer service.

- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct armed patrols on foot and/or by vehicle throughout buildings, public areas, and perimeter zones to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, screening checkpoints, and restricted areas; verify identification, manage access lists, and direct visitors to appropriate destinations in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site representatives and/or local law enforcement, and following post orders.
- Complete detailed reports on patrol observations, access activity, and incident response; maintain required armed post qualifications and follow Allied Universal and client policies for equipment handling and use of force.
- Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
