Summary
As the Security Officer, you play an essential role in ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. You contribute to providing a secure and welcoming environment, responding quickly and appropriately to incidents, and promoting outstanding guest service.
Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvidetimelyand courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture
Monitor and patrol all areas of the casino and hotel to protect property and ensure guest and team member safety
Escort and secure all transfers of money, tokens, chip fills, hopper fills, and jackpots
Respond to guest and employee incidents, including injuries, illnesses, or emergency situations
Support emergency evacuations and direct guests appropriately
Assist guests with room key access and wheelchair escorts asneeded
Maintain and secure crime scenes, communicate with law enforcement and investigators asneeded
Assign and log keys using Key-Trac system; monitor fire control center and manage lost andfound
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest servicein a timely mannerto both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
1years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or security industry preferred
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of ateam
Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana
At least
21 years ofageHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain andmaintainall work cards as required by the company
