The SRT Officer will assist and liaise effectively with Caesars Entertainment Security personnel, law enforcement agencies and local partners as requested and will perform all duties in accordance with Caesars Entertainment policies and procedures, and within the realm of the Caesars Entertainment mission statement.

Job ResponsibilitiesA Special Response Team (SRT) Officer is responsible for providing highly visible professional security to Caesars properties to complement existing security programs.
Act as a visual deterrent, intervene and respond to all levels of security and potential emergency needs including violent acts or threats, emergency situations, and critical safety risks.
Mitigate incidents through early detection and/or disruption of criminal conduct or other undesirable activity.
Perform duties in accordance with Enterprise and property policies, practices and procedures. This position requires specialized training in addition to day-to-day security operations, including regular firearms and tactics training and rigorous physical conditioning standards.
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a current valid Nevada Driver’s License
Must be able to obtain and possess a Nevada Gaming License
Ability to obtain a Concealed and Carry Weapons permit issued from the State of Nevada (Required) or HR218 LEOSA
Must obtain a Nevada alcohol awareness card
Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
Creditable experience as a law enforcement officer or through service as a military police officer; experience with counter terrorism or dignitary protection is a plus
Preference given to graduates of an accredited law enforcement academy or comparable instruction
Experience in decision-making based on experience, training, regulations and laws; maintain order and protect life and property
Documented experience in use-of-force decision making in a public-facing capacity
Working knowledge in investigations with investigative and analytical skills
Ability to be tactful, professional, and maintain ethical conduct
Clear communication with staff, management, and the public
Ability to assume authority in high-risk crises and provide constructive feedback
Respect for diverse values and backgrounds; build long-term trust
Commitment to integrity and ethical conduct
Must attend and pass recurring mandatory training (legal, tactical, defensive tactics, first aid, CPR, firearms, etc.)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Lead by example and promote a positive security environment
Team-centered mindset and ability to work with other departments
High School diploma or equivalent
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to wear required attire for assignments
Perform other job-related duties as requested
Successfully complete required training, maintain physical fitness and firearms proficiency
Must pass physical and written testing for the Las Vegas Region Security Academy within 90 days
Red Cross CPR/AED certification and Caesars CPR Simulation evaluation
Maintain firearms and other certifications as required by law and Caesars standards
Ability to engage physically with a threatening individual
Ability to respond calmly in crisis and make rational decisions
