Supervisory Criminal Investigator (Direct Hire)

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) invites applications for a Supervisory Criminal Investigator (Direct Hire) to secure and investigate coverage across transportation systems nationwide. The role involves overseeing criminal and administrative new investigations, supporting prosecutors, and directing TSA investigators.

The TSA’s Investigations division protects the nation’s transportation infrastructure. Duties include managing complex fraud investigations, employee misconduct matters, and coordinating with other federal and state partners to maintain public safety.

• Provide strategic planning and coordination of criminal and administrative investigations ranging from complex fraud investigations to employee misconduct matters уточுகிறார்
• Provide direction and oversight to TSA investigators to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse in TSA programs and operations.
• Oversee the planning of investigative strategies, techniques and approaches to assist prosecuting attorneys in preparing materials necessary for indictments, arraignments, trials, sentencing and appeals before U.S. courts.
• Provide technical guidance on sensitive cases and analyze the results of the investigations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders regarding investigative activities that have broad impact on TSA programs.
• Liaise with Federal Air Marshal Service and Federal Security Directors on efforts to detect and prevent regulatory and criminal violations.
• Address stakeholders regarding interagency agreements and cooperation, and investigative and prosecutorial collaborations.
• Direct programmatic improvements for investigative procedures, techniques and policies.
• Set priorities to determine the quantity and quality of assignments, with tasks appropriate to staff capabilities, and guide employee development opportunities.

Unless previously completed, candidates must satisfactorily complete a one‑year supervisory probationary period to continue in this supervisory/managerial position.

• U.S. citizenship or U.S. national.
• Minimum age 21.
• Successful background investigation.
• Selective Service registration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Pass pre‑employment حي drug screening and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Requirement for a one‑year supervisory trial period.
• Emergency Essential Position.
• Criminal Investigator Training Program (CITP) or equivalent experience.
• Law Enforcement polygraph examination testing required.
• Ability to relocate for emergency sites and perform work under intense stress.
• Must maintain firearm proficiency and carry a firearm per TSA requirements.
• Meet and maintain medical and physical requirements per TSA Medical Guidelines for Criminal Investigators.
