As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Las Vegas, NV
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to site protocols.
- Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and directions as needed.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential issues within the government facility.
- Prepare written reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Operate communication devices to stay connected with other personnel and dispatch as needed.
- Comply with all licensing and training requirements for armed security-related professionals.
- Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, or at least two years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
- Valid driver's license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Armed guard card or license preferred.
- Primarily a driving post.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
