Sales Development Rep/SDR, Business Development
Let's be clear upfront: we're looking for a golfer who knows how to sell, not a salesperson who knows how to golf.
If you can't tell us the difference between a Vokey SM10 and a Jaws Raw without Googling it, this probably isn't for you. If you've never debated whether Golf Now is killing pro shops, keep scrolling. But if you live and breathe golf AND you happen to be relentless at opening doors — read on.
WHAT YOU'LL DOYou'll be the tip of the spear for our AI-Augmented product built specifically for the golf industry. Your job is to identify, engage, and qualify prospects across golf courses, clubs, resorts, and golf tech companies. You'll work hand-in-hand with our development team to bring real market insight back into the product — and bring the product to the market.
- Prospect and qualify golf industry decision-makers (GMs, Directors of Golf, ownership groups, golf tech platforms)
- Leverage AI-Augmented prospecting tools (Apollo, Clay, Linked In Sales Navigator, and whatever comes next) like a scratch golfer uses a rangefinder — instinctively
- Build and manage outbound sequences that actually get replies
- Translate industry pain points into product conversations
- Feed real-world insights from the field back to our product and dev team
- Represent apphero at golf industry events, trade shows, and yes — on the course
First: deep golf industry knowledge. You understand the business side of golf — operations, tee sheet management, membership models, revenue challenges, the tech landscape. You've been in the industry, around the industry, or obsessed with the industry.
Second: AI-Augmented prospecting skills. You don't just "use" AI tools — you think in workflows. You know how to chain prompts, automate outreach, enrich leads, and build pipeline faster than anyone doing it manually. You're the person your friends ask to "show them that AI thing."
Third: a hunter's mentality. You're energized by outbound. Cold outreach doesn't scare you — bad messaging does.
NICE TO HAVE- Existing network in the golf industry
- Experience with Salesforce (we're a Salesforce shop)
- A handicap you're willing to share publicly
- Opinions about AI that you can actually back up
We're a Las Vegas-based startup building AI-Augmented solutions on Salesforce. Our team is small, fast, and allergic to corporate BS. We believe the best products come from people who understand the industry they're building for — which is why we're hiring a golfer first.
APPLYDrop us a message. Tell us your handicap, your favorite prospecting tool, and one thing the golf industry is getting wrong. Bonus points if you can do it in under 100 words.
