Job Description

STARTING PAY RANGE: $24.00 - $27.00 PER HOUR/DOE

A Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Pricing and Quoting Specialist is responsible for creating accurate and detailed cost estimates and proposals for commercial HVAC projects. This role is vital for securing profitable business while ensuring customer satisfaction through transparent pricing and accurate project scope definition. This role demands candidates with experience utilizing the Build Ops software platform to generate quotes, obtain customer approvals, and ensure accurate work ticket pricing for the billing department within company specified deadlines.

• Estimate Costs:
  Accurately calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead, using relevant business tools.
• Develop detailed quotes:
  Create professional, clear, and comprehensive quotes that accurately reflect the scope of work and estimated costs, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer specifications.
• Build and maintain relationships:
  Foster positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Provide accurate quotes and pricing using Build Ops software, with a focus on customer service and internal team support.
• Maintain knowledge:
  Communicate with internal teams and vendors to ensure that pricing on quotes and work tickets is accurate.
• Build Ops:
  Effectively utilize the Build Ops system to accurately and efficiently complete quotes and pricing on work tickets within deadlines.
• Contribute to process improvement:
  Communicate with your manager your ideas for improvement of current processes and procedures for greater efficiency and effectiveness in the pricing and quoting process.

• Build Ops software experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in commercial HVAC pricing and quoting is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Understanding of HVAC systems, products, and controls.
