TCAR Therapy Development Specialist - Las Vegas
Location:
Las Vegas, NV
The Therapy Development Specialist is a clinically oriented entrepreneurial ambassador for the TCAR (Transcarotid Artery Revascularization) procedure. This role executes therapy adoption initiatives for TCAR and drives safe adoption, superior outcomes, and revenue for the ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection System, ENROUTE Transcarotid Stent System, and related products.
Responsibilities- Provide technical and clinical support for ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection System and ENROUTE Transcarotid Stent System procedures, ensuring procedural success and superior outcomes.
- Educate procedure teams on patient selection and indications for TCAR procedures.
- Assist in scheduling cases, offer prompt customer support, and resolve complaints effectively.
- Maintain maximum coverage of all accounts within the territory to maintain optimum exposure.
- Participate in physician training, product development programs, and maintain high standards of personal and professional conduct.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge, including current literature and competitive products.
- Manage inventory, submit accurate expense reports, and report device complaints to the quality assurance department.
- Provide market intelligence and potential sales leads to Boston Scientific sales and leadership.
- Plan and implement effective clinical/product presentations to customers.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 4 years clinical, medical device, or related experience in a hospital environment.
- Knowledge of imaging modalities (duplex ultrasound, catheter angiography, CTA, MRA) and procedural hemodynamics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex medical device technologies clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and decision-makers.
- Flexibility to navigate a dynamic sales environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
Base salary range: $90,000 to $130,000, plus variable compensation under the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan and additional benefits.
