Overview

The Sales Consultant is responsible for the direct sale of Holiday Inn Club Vacation ownership products to prospective purchasers to be delivered in a professional and ethical manner. The primary duties are to discover the prospective purchaser’s needs and interests and create a want to join the Holiday Inn Club Vacations program through a structured sales presentation. The Sales Consultant advises clients on how being a HICV owner will provide added value and addresses questions or concerns while delivering a quality customer service experience.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts a guest presentation and tour as trained at scheduled times. Provides prospective owners a tour of the Sales Gallery, Resort Property, and Model Tour.
  • Attends training classes on an ongoing basis. Participates in demonstration/assessment rides as scheduled with the Sales Managers and/or Sales Training Managers.
  • Builds relationships with assigned Sales Training Managers and all members of the Sales Line Team. Assists in ensuring all questions are answered in a professional, informative, diplomatic, and correct manner.
  • Ensures and/or performs coaching and action plans as provided by the assigned Sales Training Managers and/or Sales Managers. Explains the features and benefits of the points program and recommends the amount of points to be purchased to address current and future vacation needs.
  • Delivers the utmost level of customer service to all guests and owners to ensure a great sales tour experience. Achieves personal and departmental written objectives as provided or determined throughout the fiscal year.

  • Must work on-site; this is NOT a remote position
  • Must have an active NV Real Estate License
  • Must hang your license under our broker
  • One cannot perform standard real estate at the same time as timeshare sales
Differences Between Standard Real Estate & Vacation Sales
  • No fees for licensing, brokers, marketing, or leads (we have pre-set, pre-qualified leads).
  • No driving all over the place for your clients, putting wear and tear on your personal car.
  • Work less than 40 hrs/week with a more structured schedule from 8A to mid-afternoon; work ends for the day when sales are complete.
  • No financing or contracts—just closing sales.
  • Quick sale turnaround. You get 90 minutes to 2 hours total with each client.
  • Guaranteed bi-weekly paycheck with full benefits.
