WCF Insurance is growing, and the Sales and Distribution department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF Insurance values to join their team as a Sales Manager.
This is a full-time, exempt position that works from the greater Las Vegas area. The posting is open to internal and external candidates.
ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Manager develops, establishes, monitors, and maintains relationships with assigned agencies, identifies agency needs, proactively helps resolve service issues, creates awareness of the WCF Brand and is responsible for achieving WCF sales goals. The person will plan, organize, and conduct thoughtful and meaningful agency meetings, develop and negotiate annual production goals for assigned agencies, monitor performance of managed agencies and communicate results through regular reports, and develop market intelligence by monitoring industry trends.
The Sales Manager facilitates strategic business development, conducts periodic internal/external pipeline meetings, identifies additional sources of premium production, vets prospective agencies for profitable growth, and prepares business cases in support of agency appointments. This position includes a travel component, overnight travel up to 25%.
- At least five years of property and casualty insurance sales and distribution experience.
- Experience in developing and delivering presentations to existing and prospective clients.
- Advanced insurance designations preferred and strongly encouraged.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including motivational presentation and training style.
- Ability to effectively interact and collaborate at all levels within the organization.
- Foundational underwriting knowledge of commercial insurance.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred.

Expected salary for this position is $85,000 - $120,000 plus a bonus for performance, depending on experience and education.
Internal candidates should have six months in their current position, acceptable job performance, and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
