Essential Job Functions
The Retail Stock Associate must be able to lift 50 lbs., transport merchandise from delivery area to stores and stockroom locations, maintain stock volume, neatness, cleanliness and inventory control. Must stand 90% of the day, drive or learn to drive an electric cart and forklift, follow direction, prioritize duties, produce written records, deliver excellent customer service. Previous stockroom or warehouse experience preferred.

- Maintain stock volume, neatness, cleanliness and inventory control.
- Stand 90% of the day.
- Drive or learn to drive an electric cart and use a forklift.
- Take direction, prioritize duties, produce and maintain written records.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Have basic math knowledge.
- Adhere to uniform standards: clean, pressed, name tag worn at all times.
- Communicate internal and external customer service standards.
- Maintain internal customer service levels according to Total Service standards.
- Embrace “Spotlight on Service” behaviors, greet guests with a smile.
- Be knowledgeable about Total Rewards program and benefits.
- Create a warm, friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Know hotel property and amenities.
- Communicate daily activities to the next shift on duty.
- Respond to pages timely.
- Partner with associates to build strong team.
- Communicate daily activities to Supervisor on Duty.
- Adhere to attendance and tardiness guidelines.
- Receive shipments timely, unpack, put away or transfer daily deliveries.
- Notify Supervisor on Duty of DDS shipment discrepancies.
- Deliver and replenish sodas; receive orders of Pepsi, liquor, wine, beer.
- Receive requisitions from loading dock and follow delivery schedule.
- Transport merchandise from receiving dock to store locations.
- Support high volume stores with physical labor for coolers and remote storage.
- Deliver necessary supplies to stores.
- Complete stock counts and logs.
- Maintain and manage stock areas.
- Inform Supervisor on Duty of overstock or out-of-stock items.
- Assist with inventory ordering and store-to-store transfers.
- Maintain stock room cleanliness, dust, unclutter.
- Report maintenance concerns to Supervisor.
- Collect and dispose of trash where applicable.
- Attend mandatory meetings and training.
- Complete job assignments from Supervisor.
- Assist associate sales, inventories, and special events.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 1 year customer service experience required.
- 1 year Retail Stock experience required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of basic math.
Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant interaction with staff and public. Shifts may vary based on business needs. Must handle intoxicated guests professionally and tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
