Under direct supervision, the Tortilleria Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service, assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates tortilla displays, and helps make a variety of tortillas and masa for the department.

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain and restock tortilla displays.
• Assist in making and rotating tortillas and masa.
• Keep the Tortilleria area clean and organized.
• Meet physical requirements of lifting up to 60 pounds and standing, walking, and kneeling.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence or memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, 45 pounds, or 60 pounds regularly.
