SERVICE CREW MEMBER - 604LOHA GRILL (FOH) Summary Of Functions
The Service Crew Member is responsible for managing the expo and front-of-house guest service line, accurately receiving and communicating guest orders, supporting timely food delivery, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. This role ensures seamless restaurant operations while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Follow all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Maintain uniform, appearance, and grooming standards.
- Comply with all sanitation and safety procedures; maintain a 90% or higher score on sanitation and safety audits.
- Maintain excellent attendance.
- Arrive at least 10 minutes before scheduled shifts.
- Limit shift swaps/replacements to no more than 5% of scheduled shifts.
- Follow company time-off and illness reporting procedures.
- Maintain a 0% no-call/no-show record.
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
- Provide outstanding guest service; maintain a customer complaint ratio of less than 1 per 100 guests.
- Accurately receive, confirm, and communicate guest orders to the kitchen with 100% accuracy.
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of menu items and specials, including preparation methods, ingredients, portion sizes, side items, and substitutions.
- Check food quality, apply appropriate garnishes, and expedite orders to guests within 1 minute of receiving items from the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked workstation.
- Follow proper receiving and storage procedures with 100% accuracy.
- Perform assigned side work accurately and efficiently.
- Complete all end‑of‑shift checkout procedures with 100% accuracy.
- Support a positive team environment by assisting fellow team members as needed.
- Preferred: 18 years of age or older, due to equipment and safety requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Strong guest‑service orientation and positive attitude.
- Valid health card or equivalent required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and understand units and measurements.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to bend, lift, stoop, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Manual dexterity and hand coordination for efficient plate handling and service speed.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including opening, mid‑shift, and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
