The Cashier is responsible for following the exact cashier sequence of service procedures as outlined by company policy. Cashiers must assure and maintain the highest standards of service, sanitation, and hospitality. They are required to display knowledge of menu and food ingredients, keep the area maintained and organized for the next shift, handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, provide excellent customer service, and ensure compliance with financial security requirements.

• Set‑up, break down, and continually maintain station and front entrance.
• Demonstrate a hospitable greeting and salutation to all guests with a warm smile.
• Follow cashier points of service offering up‑sales and suggestions as orders are placed.
• Willing to assist other employees in their tasks.
• Perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift, always checking out with the manager on duty.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with customers.
• Ensure all product displays are visually appealing, neat, and food is fresh with correct labels.
• Communicate with management about out‑of‑stock items, guest complaints, equipment issues, or breakage that would affect service.
• Be aware of posted information from previous pre‑shifts and follow through accordingly.
• Demonstrate self‑leadership by displaying job expertise, flexibility, positive attitude, initiative, organization, communication skills, and enthusiasm.
• Able to understand and comply with all safety regulations and rules.
• Obtain all required work cards.

• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees and managers.
• Attention to detail and mathematical skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Required to pass a criminal background check if working Allegiant Stadium events.

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum 1‑year previous cashier experience preferably with restaurant experience.

• Ability to traverse all parts of station quickly and safely.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds; higher lifts must be assisted.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; in some instances, the entire shift.
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Flexibility in the wrist to scoop, twist, push, pull, lift, and bend.
• Ability to move quickly turning from left to right or right to left.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to be mobile in walk‑in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to
  -10° F.
