PartTime Hotel Breakfast Attendant

Overview

Our busy hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented customer service professional to make our guests  dining experience memorable. As our breakfast attendant, you will set up the hot buffet daily, ensuring that hot food is always filled, fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service. The breakfast attendant will also refill coffee and beverages as needed or when asked and remove dirty dishes and utensils.

Candidates should be enthusiastic about customer service and thrive in fast-paced environments! Experience working in the food service industry is a plus. Position is for 2 days a week:
Weekends or Sunday/Monday

• Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service
• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
• Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
• Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
• Assist guests with any questions or concerns that they may have in a prompt and friendly manner

• Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills with diners and coworkers
• Must possess Food Handler Training Safety Card (Health Card)

$15 hourly
