The Pick Up Stix Crew Member is a non‑tip position who performs a variety of duties related to QSR restaurant‑style service, including greeting and serving customers, preparing hot food, maintaining sanitation standards, and handling light paperwork. Responsible customer service is a major component of this position.

• Checks supplies in the counter area and restocks items to ensure an adequate supply throughout the shift.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front‑of‑house, including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station, and restroom.
• Greets customers and takes orders – uses the cash register to record the order, computes the bill, collects payment and gives change.
• Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, company policies and procedures.
• Collects cash, checks, or charges payment from guests. Makes change for cash transactions, verifies identification for checks, and prepares charge vouchers for credit card purchases.
• Counts money, checks, and charge payments in the cash drawer at the end of shifts.
• Completes cold and hot food preparation assignments neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Maintains proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing food, serving food and cleaning up.
• Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service as assigned.
• Maintains a professional appearance at all times – clean and well‑groomed as per standards.
• Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner when dealing with customers.

• Education:
  
  High School or Equivalent
• Experience:
  
  Demonstrated ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Physical:
  Must be physically able to work the station, including operating a computerized cash register; the position requires bending, standing, and walking throughout the day, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Cleaning duties such as wiping tables, sweeping, and refilling stock are included.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid SNHD Food Handler's Card.
