BOA Steakhouse is hiring LINE COOKS to join our team. Be a part of our opening team at BOA Steakhouse located at The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort. BOA Steakhouse offers an unforgettable experience in American steakhouse cuisine, based in Southern California and part of Innovative Dining Group's collection of restaurants. This concept blends inventive traditional dishes with a vibrant atmosphere and custom cocktails.

- A Line Cook plates dishes and completes basic food prep tasks, preparing and cooking food at a specific station, cleaning prep areas, and ensuring the kitchen is stocked.
- Have extensive knowledge of the restaurant’s food offerings and beverage program.
- Comply with standard portion sizes, recipe specifications, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, and restaurant policies and procedures.
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other equipment.
- Assemble items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and marinating.
- Follow proper plate presentation and prepare garnishes for all dishes.
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
- Handle, store and rotate all products properly (FIFO).
- Perform station opening/closing and side work duties for each shift.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including all equipment and surfaces.
- Create a positive work environment through friendly, caring and professional communication.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain composure under pressure.
- Deliver exceptional service and hospitality.
- 2 years previous experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong familiarity with food service regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong communication skills with guests and teammates.
- Positive, upbeat attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends; team players who can adapt to the restaurant flow.
- Valid Food Handler Card (must-have upon hire).
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and manage a physically demanding role.
- Must be 18 years or older.
