Responsible for supervision of daily restaurant and bar operations and staff to ensure excellent guest satisfaction. Execute plans towards achieving Food and Beverage goals as outlined by upper management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promotes positive customer service by assisting guests in addressing their complaints and resolving their problems.
- Interview, hire and train new food and beverage front of the house staff.
- Work with F & B management on employee coaching, counseling and discipline.
- Track, log and impose proper discipline levels to all staff regarding attendance standards.
- Run food and beverage daily shift at designated outlets.
- Communicate with F & B Manager on purchasing requests.
- Manage food, bar, labor and controllable costs.
- Maintain flexible working schedule with ability to make changes as business requires.
- Enforces company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensures the general cleanliness of the outlets.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct supervision of all Food and Beverage staff including QSR Attendants, cashier/hosts, bussers, food servers, bartenders, barbacks, cocktail servers, and secondary supervision of kitchen staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- All Employees must be knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
- Minimum of 21 years old.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must have one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must obtain Health Card
- Alcohol Awareness Card
- Non-Gaming Card
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
Previous experience with AS400/Stratton Warren.
Previous experience with POS systems.
