Canteen Food Hall Steward

** WHAT YOU’LL DO
** The Canteen Food Hall Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the food hall. This includes cleaning dining areas, supporting food service operations, assisting with waste management, and ensuring an overall pleasant experience for guests.
** ROLE EXPECTATIONS
** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Performs duties such as ware-washing, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning walls, food service equipment and simple operation of basic equipment

Own the guest experience in any situation by using problem solving skills to impress the guest

Perform other job-related duties as requested

Performs all side work, opening and closing duties.

Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
** SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
** This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
** REQUIREMENTS*
* * At least 21 years of age.
* Polished appearance and demeanor.
* Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of the venues menu.
* Previous experience working in a similar position within a hospitality establishment.

At least one year of high-volume counter or fast-food experience in a similar or related field.

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to effectively communicate in English. Excellent customer service skills.
** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
** Must regularly lift and/move up to 25 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
