Position SummaryThe Senior Advanced Quality Assurance Strategist will lead and execute quality strategies to drive excellence across the global organization. Reporting to the Director of Global Quality, this role serves as a key expert in quality-related processes, ensuring the successful integration of quality principles throughout Light and Wonder's operations. The focus will be on elevating product quality and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the hardware and operational teams.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust quality management processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality hardware products. This includes deploying initiatives such as 5-Why analysis, test strategies, and process improvements
- Define and monitor quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and optimize development and testing effectiveness
- Establish and maintain industry-leading quality assurance standards and best practices across all relevant departments
- Foster strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams within R&D and Operations to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead risk management and quality mitigation strategies for high-visibility projects, ensuring optimal outcomes
- Champion a culture of quality, inspiring and motivating teams to prioritize high standards in all business activities
- Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in quality management practices, incorporating innovative solutions into organizational processes
- Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports to senior management on the quality readiness and progress of key projects
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CQE, Six Sigma, PMP, or Data Analytics) are highly desirable
- 5+ years of experience in a senior or advanced quality related role, with a strong emphasis on hardware and operations quality.
- Gaming industry experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated passion for quality excellence
- Strong knowledge of hardware development and operational processes, including manufacturing or production line experience, with a focus on gaming hardware or relevant technologies
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships with stakeholders across all levels
- Expertise in quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement methodologies
- Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations related to product quality and safety
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies and advanced quality tools
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and handle multiple tasks within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
