Eurofins Built Environment Testing – Mold/Asbestos Analyst (Las Vegas, NV)
Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking a skilled Mold/Asbestos Analyst to join our team in Las Vegas, NV.
Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze aerobiological and environmental samples for asbestos and fungi.
- Accurately enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
- Perform independent data reviews for other analysts’ work.
- Conduct analysis of reference materials, proficiency samples, and other quality control samples as needed.
- Maintain client service and provide technical support as required.
- Assist the QA manager in developing, implementing, and collecting data for QA processes for various analytical tests.
- Confirm lab results as needed by client services personnel.
- Complete all analytical testing and QA-related tasks as required.
- Help pursue, receive, and maintain necessary laboratory accreditations.
- Update all required training and QA documents onsite as necessary.
- Coordinate and manage projects according to rush status and due dates for timely delivery.
- Assist co‑workers with analytical questions as needed.
- Participate in Lean initiatives.
- Follow company policies and procedures and ensure coworkers do the same.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience performing asbestos PLM (Polarized Light Microscopes) and/or mold analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, geology, or a closely related scienceნიშვნელ REQUIRED.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Professional proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- 8 units of Microbiology courses (preferred).
- Knowledge of general regulatory requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and databases.
- Strong scientific and organizational skills.
Compensation range: $21.00–$26.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications). The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with overtime and weekends as needed.
