Overnight Kennel Attendant

Buddies is looking for a reliable Overnight Kennel Attendant with pet care experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate LOVES animals, has experience caring for animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits &birds, has a general understanding of animal behavior, has customer service experience, has a great attitude, welcoming personality and willingness to learn & has reliable means of transportation.

Duties include providing supervision and a safe space for pets. You will be walking, cleaning, monitoring pets, as well as providing basic medical care if needed. The successful candidate will also be responsible for keeping detailed records of pet care activities and interfacing with pet parents.

Monitor pets overnight to ensure their safety and wellbeing after hours.

Provide basic care for pets, such as monitoring, feeding, administering medication and walking.

Ensure the safety of all pets while in your care.

Maintain cleanliness of pet areas and equipment.

Follow instructions from pet owners regarding pet care.

Follow instructions from owners and peers.

Keep accurate records of pet activities and behaviors.

Communicate with pet parents, owners and veterinarian in the case of medical emergency.
