Urgent Care Veterinarian; DVM

A partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree, proficiency in small animal medicine, and experience in urgent care settings.

• Provide urgent care to small animals, including physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment.
• Administer medications and fluids to stabilize patients.
• Consult with clients about their pets’ health and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to provide the best possible care.
• Encourage growth of support staff through internal training programs.
• Manage a varied caseload, including surgeries and appointments during operating hours.

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• 1-3 years of experience working in an urgent care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in small animal medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Active state license in good standing (or ability to obtain).
