Surgeon positions are open to board-certified or surgery-trained veterinarians. Foreign applicants who have completed the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) certification program are invited to apply. Desert Pines is southern Nevada’s only full-service primary care, referral, and emergency hospital for horses, offering sports medicine, surgery, internal medicine, reproduction, preventive care, ambulatory, emergency, and critical care services.

Desert Pines Equine Medical and Surgical Center was established in 1998. Las Vegas offers a diverse equine community with events such as show jumping, dressage, eventing, racing, western disciplines, cutting, and rodeo. The practice has served as the official veterinarians for the National Finals Rodeo since 1985.

• State-of-the-art equipment: digital radiography, endoscopy, digital ultrasound, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, power-float dental equipment, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, Class IV laser, IRAP processing

The clinic is located near Red Rock National Conservation Area with ample opportunities for outdoor activities and equestrian events throughout the year.
