Trailhead Recruiting is partnered with a premier Internal Medicine Group based out of Las Vegas, NV who is seeking to hire a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a team of Internal Medicine / Family Practice providers.

The NP will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with physicians, and adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, asthma, COPD)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Provide preventive care services, including immunizations, screenings, and health counseling
  • Conduct follow-up visits and monitor patient progress
  • Promote wellness and preventive health measures
  • Encourage patient engagement in self-care and long-term health management
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the EHR system
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited University
  • Current Nursing licensure in the State of Nevada
  • National certification (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent)
  • Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
