Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a compassionate and skilled caregiver who plays a critical role in providing patient-centered care within the comfort of their homes. This position involves taking responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care that supports patients in maintaining their independence and improving their quality of life. The home health RN uses the nursing process, leveraging technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practices, and seamless coordination with multidisciplinary team members to deliver meaningful care that aligns with the patient's unique needs and goals.
The home health RN is responsible for how best to provide skilled nursing services with fidelity to the highest health care standards, including critically-sounding and caring community based services. We provide home health RN care for clients in emergency, acute, and chronic care situations.

Shift Details: Full time, 40 hours - weekday, day shift.

Mainly for Pahrump area but may travel to Tonopah, Beatty, Amargosa and Gabbs for other patient visits.
This is a PAY PER VISIT position, compensation dependent upon years of RN work experience.
You will have an hourly rate during the orientation phase (approximately 6 - 8 weeks) based upon your years of RN work experience

Minimum QualificationsCurrent RN License in state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
Current driver’s license, insured and reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within 4 years of their start date.
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update in July 2025. Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire.
