Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. Responsibilities- You will provide nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries including lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency and trauma situations to chronic medical problems, minor illnesses and injuries
- You will maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting
- You will participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities. Completes required competencies within the defined time frames
- You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team
- You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and TNCC required
- ENPC; TCAR; PCAR-Trauma Resus Team) within 1 year of hire for Adult ED
- CEN preferred
- Current acute clinical care experience in emergency medicine within the past 5 years preferred
- Two years hospital emergency medicine experience within the past 5 years preferred
- Must meet clinical standards specific to the assigned patient care area (specialty unit employees for areas such as Emergency Room or ICU)
