Director Cath Lab - RN

Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Cath Lab to lead our cardiovascular services team. The Director will oversee the daily operations of the Catheterization Lab, ensuring high-quality care, effective management, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires a strong leader with a clinical background in cardiovascular services and progressive management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operational management of the Cath Lab, including staffing, budgeting, and workflow optimization.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in line with the latest clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other departments to improve patient outcomes and department efficiency.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Cath Lab, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the department, making improvements where necessary to meet clinical and operational goals.
• Ensure staff are trained and equipped to provide care appropriate to the age and medical needs of patients in the Cath Lab.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Master’s Degree required.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of progressive management experience.

License/Certification:

• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Other Requirements:

• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the age of patients served in the Cath Lab.
