About Us
The Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada is dedicated to building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Fund Development to lead our fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities- Manage the council’s Fund Development, including grants, individual donations, foundations, corporations, annual giving, capital campaigns, and planned giving.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community and corporate partners, as well as donors.
- Plan and coordinate the annual fundraising gala and other events.
- Provide expertise and support to the Fund Development Committee of the council’s Board of Directors.
- Seek new funding sources and maintain relationships with current and past donors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications; or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of successful non-profit experience, or proven success in marketing or sales with 3-5 years in a fundraising capacity.
- Strong public speaking, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, CRM software (Salesforce), and donor management software (Donor Perfect).
