Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to join our high-performing brand marketing team. This is an ideal role for an early-career marketer looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Reporting directly to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will assist in the execution of digital campaigns, maintain our presence across third-party platforms and ensure our digital content is accurate and up-to-date. This full-time, in-person position occasionally requires flexibility to work during weekends and evenings for events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup and trafficking of digital ads across Google, Meta and other paid media platforms (e.g., uploading creative, checking destination URLs).
  • Compile weekly and monthly performance reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Monitor active campaigns to ensure ads are serving correctly and pacing according to schedule.
  • Build and schedule email campaigns using our email service provider, ensuring all links and images function correctly before deployment.
  • Maintain the digital marketing deployment to ensure timelines are met.
  • Social Media, Community & Event Support:
    • Assist the Social Media Manager by scheduling posts and organizing assets.
    • Monitor social channels and respond to comments and inquiries, flagging urgent guest service issues to management.
    • Provide on-site support for property events (occasional evenings/weekends) to capture live social content or assist with activation and engage with guests.
  • Digital Presence & Quality Assurance:
    • Online Listings: Regularly audit and act as the primary point of contact for updating business information (hours, amenities, photos) on Google Business Profiles, Trip Advisor, Yelp, and Apple Maps.
    • Website Maintenance:
      • Perform routine content updates on the SAHARA Las Vegas website using our CMS.
      • Upload new images, update copy, and maintain accuracy of property information.
      • Coordinate with design team for visual assets as needed.
    • Accuracy Checks: Verify accuracy of casino offers, promotions, and property information across digital channels.
  • Other activities and duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent 1-2 years of digital marketing experience — internships count!).
  • Age:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Gaming License:
Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming license.
  • Availability:
Comfortable working on-site with occasional evenings/weekends for events.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Basic understanding of digital marketing and advertising concepts (paid media, email marketing, social media)
    • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
    • Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Team player who takes direction well and asks questions when needed
    • Attention to detail with strong ability to spot errors in copy, links, and pricing
    • Ability to manage a marketing calendar and track multiple deadlines.

  • Exposure to email service providers (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with HTML and content management systems
