Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly

CNC Operator
The CNC Operator is responsible for turning CAD files into poly lines, geometric shapes, and machine programming. The cutting of parts for all departments is also a key responsibility in this area.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with the detailers, shop supervisor and shop carpenters regarding needed parts to ensure that they are received
- Machine new exhibit parts according to CAD files or verbal communication with team members
- Maintain work area and machines in a safe and clean condition and free of hazards
- Conduct a daily and yearly maintenance on the CNC machine and keeping accurate maintenance records
- Maintain daily work and material logs using timekeeping kiosks
- Assist the shop supervisor in scheduling the workload as it relates to the CNC machine
What we would love to see:
- High school diploma or a GED is required for this position
- General or basic building experience- exhibit experience a plus
- At least five years of prior experience in a CNC role
- Computer skills are required for this position, (Proficient in AutoCAD, Geoshape, and generating NC codes)
- Ability to nest parts for maximum material use
- Heavy lifting is required up to 100 lbs
