Skills & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities: Interpreting Plans:
Read and understand blueprints, sketches, and CAD/CAM files. Setup & Operation:
Mount tools, align work pieces, and operate manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses. Machining Parts:
Turn, mill, drill, shape, and grind parts to precise dimensions and specifications. Quality Control:
Measure, inspect, and test finished products for defects and accuracy using precision instruments. Material Knowledge:
Understand properties of metals and select appropriate cutting speeds and feeds. Maintenance:
Perform minor adjustments and maintenance on equipment.
Collaboration:
Consult with engineers and other staff to refine processes.
Essential Skills & Knowledge: Math & Geometry:
Solid grasp of shop math, including fractions, angles, and tolerances. Problem‑Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot and adapt processes. Safety:
Strict adherence to shop safety standards and guidelines. Tools:
Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and machining tools (lathes, mills).

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58,240.00 - $72,800.00/yr.
