Operations Coordinator, UNLV Senior Vice Provost [R0149655]
Join the University of Nevada‑Las Vegas (UNLV) as an Operations Coordinator for the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. The position provides executive operational support and management of the office, coordinating day‑to‑day operational demands for the Senior Vice Provost and associated academic service and student support units.
Responsibilities- Manage the Office and orchestrate operational needs of the Senior Vice Provost.
- Deliver effective coordination of business operational needs including communications, scheduling, executive meeting preparations, event and conference design, organization and execution activities, information management, and various administrative operations.
- Evaluate, coordinate, and problem‑solve situations, events, interpersonal matters, and projects to ensure smooth, efficient functioning of the Office.
- Provide accurate and timely information, manage deadlines, and deliver outstanding customer service to campus colleagues, prospective and current students, alumni, community partners, donors, sponsors, vendor partners, employers, NSHE, and other community agencies.
- Communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and exercise independent judgment, initiative, and discernment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 3–5 years of experience in a high‑level or executive‑level office setting, collaborating with organization personnel to manage projects, resources, and initiatives.
- Valid Nevada driver’s license.
- Pass a background check.
- Direct experience in higher education or related outreach projects.
- Training in management, leadership, and business writing.
- Administrative experience with Workday and/or Archibus.
