Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite, full‑time)
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Role OverviewThe Inbound Manager leads and coordinates all aspects of the receiving department, including the unloading, check‑in, QA, and put‑away of inventory in an efficient and cost effective manner. They are responsible for ensuring the facility onboards accurate inventory, reporting discrepancies, and resolving issues with carriers/vendors. Reporting directly to Warehouse Manager, the Inbound Manager is tasked with collaborating with department managers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all policies and SOPs, as well as the leadership team.
CoreResponsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of Inbound, Receiving, Put Away, and Replenishment teams.
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine efficient, standardized workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment needs, and management of incoming goods.
- Manage KPI’s for receiving.
- Partner with Inventory Manager, Returns Manager, and Finance to resolve cases swiftly and prevent repeat issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to reduce cycle times and labor costs.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high‑performing team of receiving, put away, and replenishment personnel.
- Set clear daily throughput and quality targets; conduct regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Build a positive, accountable culture focused on accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Provide real‑time coaching on process discipline, data entry, and product handling.
- Own and optimize the Inbound module in the WMS, maintaining accurate receiving codes, workflows, and integrations.
- Coordinate with supply chain manager and third‑party vendors to schedule inbound containers.
- Maintain and report KPI’s; conduct root‑cause analyses for receiving issues and incorrect put‑away/replenishments.
- Lead Lean/Kaizen initiatives to eliminate waste and reduce return processing costs.
- Ensure all returns and product handling comply with company policy, warranty standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, consumer protection, e‑waste, etc.).
- Maintain updated documentation for returns SOPs, RMA policy, and warranty claim procedures.
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal to ensure consistent application of credits, write‑offs, and environmental compliance (for disposal or recycling).
- 5–8 years of experience in Receiving, Put Away, and Replenishment, ideally in DTC or consumer goods.
- Proven track record in process optimization, team leadership, and KPI‑driven management.
- Hands‑on experience with WMS systems.
- Familiarity with damage prevention analytics, quality feedback loops, and supplier RTV programs.
- Strong understanding of Lean / Six Sigma, warehouse safety, and compliance practices.
- Excellent communicator able to bridge warehouse, customer, and finance functions.
