Interim Director of Payroll

Tatum by Randstad is working with a client in the Las Vegas area that is in need of an interim Director of Payroll to come in on an interim basis for 4-6 months. The person would be taking on special project work and working closely with the accounting department, payroll manager, and HR. Our client would like the consultant to be 100% onsite.

The payroll professional taking on this role would be responsible for handling the following duties:

• Review procedures and workflow in the payroll department
• Take on special project off of the current head of payroll's plate
• Review the payment of bonuses and equity to senior leadership for accuracy

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience heading up the payroll function is required
• Prior experience with Infinium is preferred, or other large systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday would work as well.
• Prior experience working on payroll for 4K+ employees is required
• Prior experience with Union Payroll is required
• Prior experience handling bonus and equity payouts for leadership is desired
• Prior supervisory experience is desired
• Prior experience with process improvement and documentation is required
• Excellent communication and ability to work on cross functional team is required
• Our client would be willing to pay travel and lodging for a traveling director of payroll consultant to take on this project
