Western States Lodging & Management (WSLM) is seeking an Area Director of Sales – Senior Living to lead sales strategy, performance, and team development across our Nevada senior living communities.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 annually, based on experience + performance-based commission and bonus structure.

As an Area Director of Sales, you will serve as a strategist, coach, consultant, and ambassador, ensuring strong pipelines, consistent occupancy growth, and high‑performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute sales strategy across an assigned cluster of senior living communities.
- Drive occupancy, prospect pipeline health, ready‑wait list growth, and topline revenue.
- Coach, mentor, and develop community sales leaders and teams to exceed performance goals.
- Provide on‑site sales leadership support, including fill‑in coverage when needed.
- Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and referral performance.
- Partner with Executive Directors and Operations leaders to align sales and community performance.
- Ensure consistent use of WSLM’s "Personal Touch" sales system and CRM best practices.
- Support pre‑sales, community ramp‑ups, redevelopments, and acquisitions.
- Build and maintain strong referral pipelines and community partnerships.
- Prepare and present sales, occupancy, and pipeline reports to senior leadership.
- Communities maintain strong, well‑documented CRM pipelines.
- Healthy referral source activity driving at least 20% of inquiries.
- Strong tour‑to‑close ratios and ready‑wait list conversion.
- Occupancy and revenue targets consistently met or exceeded.
- Sales associates show measurable skill growth, confidence, and performance improvement.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on sales leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment while leading with empathy and purpose.
What We’re Looking For- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of B2C sales experience (senior living, hospitality, real estate, or similar preferred).
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience preferred.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
- CRM proficiency and strong data‑driven decision‑making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally/regionally.
