This is a seasonal position.

Position: Pool Porter Department: Internal Maintenance

This role is critical for us to succeed as an approachable, luxury destination offering best-in-class hospitality and exciting amenities for all. In addition, you will ensure our team members have the resources to provide our guests with memorable moments at Durango.

While there are several tasks that define your role, you will need to be really good at making it easy for our guests: delivering service with a personal touch and delighting others whenever possible, all with an approachable sense of luxury. Most of the time, you will be:

• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of area in compliance with all Company and health department standards and policies.
• Maintains cleanliness utilizing stainless steel cleaners, disinfectants and other all-purpose cleaners.
• Operating tools and equipment as trained. Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, clean cabanas, daily projects, clean restrooms, remove trash etc.
• Maintain stock room, sweep, mop, remove trash and ensure all items are stocked.
• Cleaning biohazard spills and clean up contaminated areas generally. Picking up and removing trash and broken glass.
• Be able to work outdoors including high temperatures and weather changes.

In a perfect world, we would also like you to come with:

• Previous public-area, pool area or housekeeping cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, transport and maneuver item weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must have ability to interact with Guests and Team Members in a friendly, positive and courteous manner.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
