Asset Logistics Technician

Overview

BGIS is seeking an Asset Logistics Technician to join the team in Las Vegas, NV
. The Asset Logistics Technician is responsible for tracking deliveries and inventory. The position requires a high level of accuracy and communicates frequently with other team members. The Asset Logistics Technician demonstrates BGIS values in communications with clients and other team members.

• Accept all hardware deliveries and manage asset status as it relates to the movement of assets in and out of the data center.
• Monitor the spare parts inventory and RMA (Return Merchandise) handling, packaging, and scheduling shipments of all equipment and assets.
• Audit asset status in the data center daily.
• Work directly with other Asset Logistics Technicians and coordinate to support asset integration and decommissioning efforts of the data center.
• Support any additional efforts related to shipping and receiving as assigned by the Asset Logistics Lead or Supervisor.
• Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.
• Minimum two years proven experience in asset management or data center shipping/receiving.
• Experience in asset tracking or ALM (Asset Logistics Management) software.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized with proven ability to work on several simultaneous projects and programs.
• Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to data center operations.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working in a team environment to provide support and excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
