The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Custodial Worker 1, Facilities Management [R0150337]

Custodial workers provide general building maintenance services for assigned facilities consisting of offices, classrooms, conference areas, special event centers and other facilities. This position is required to work a non-standard work week.

• Main Shift (most custodians): 6:00pm to 2:30am Monday night through Saturday morning.
• Library Crew:
  Monday
  -Sunday 7:30 pm to 4:00 am including weekends. Days off will be during the week.
• Weekend Crew:
  Monday
  - Friday they will work 6:00 pm to 2:30 AM and on Saturday and Sunday they will work 7:30 pm to 4:00 AM

Graduation from high school or equivalent education and six months of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment.

Grade 21, Step 1, salary $38,043.36.

In accordance with Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 284.170, initial appointments to classified positions typically begin at Step 1 of the assigned grade. A "Step" refers to the specific rate of pay within a grade, as determined by the Division of Human Resources.
