Technician II - Logistics

Job Summary

The Technician II - Logistics will provide shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance support.

• Properly package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
• Complete and log daily activities including receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing all materials and completing special assignments.
• Conduct cycle‑counts of inventory and manage daily log.
• Enter material into IES Inventory database.
• Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling of the same.
• Maintain warehouse quality by keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting it in a timely manner.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
• Operate forklifts and company vehicles as required.
• Work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
• Efficiently carry out all task assignments.

• Regular attendance is mandatory.
• Have entry‑level knowledge of operating warehouse machinery and equipment.
• Be self‑motivated, positive, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
• Promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
• Prefer familiarity with cycle‑counting, order picking, shipping, receiving and operating a forklift.
• Be able to work at heights, off a ladder, and in confined spaces; lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Meet Company minimum driving standards.

• Have a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• Have a basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum).
• Have intermediate skill level using Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Be able to meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Be able to use power tools.
• Have the physical agility to conduct warehouse inventory.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean environments a plus.
