We are looking for an experienced and motivated maintenance professional to join our team as an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor.

Position Overview

As the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, you are a key leader of the on-site maintenance team, acting as the right-hand to the Maintenance Supervisor. You will help guide daily operations, perform advanced hands-on repairs, and ensure the community is maintained to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is a perfect opportunity to grow your leadership skills while remaining an expert in the field.

This position is part of the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.

• Team Leadership & Administration:
  Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in leading the daily operations of the team, acting as the supervisor in their absence. You will train, mentor, and inspect the work of maintenance technicians and vendors to ensure high-quality results and manage work orders through company software.
• Advanced Hands-On Maintenance:
  Perform complex, hands-on troubleshooting and repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair, serving as a technical expert for the team.
• Property Operations:
  Oversee the "make-ready" process to ensure vacant units are perfectly prepared for new residents. You will also help manage preventative maintenance programs and assist with inventory and supply ordering.

Required:

• 3-4 years of experience as a senior maintenance technician or in a similar role in a residential setting.
• Experience supervising a team of 2 or more employees.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Advanced, hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

• Professional certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
• Experience with property management software (e.g., Entrata).
